EquAIte · an RRB Partners initiative
EquAIte growth
AI that costs less than the big plans, where what’s left of your fee after costs comes back to you, and where your data is never used to test AI.
Cheaper for every user
Users pay less than the big AI plans from day one, and what’s left of their fee after costs comes back as a rebate or is reserved toward GPUs. As EquAIte grows through each stage, AI gets cheaper still.
Monthly prices in CAD, before tax. Other providers’ US$20 plans converted at current exchange rates; list prices as of September 2026. “After your rebate” assumes a typical month of mostly everyday use; heavier use means a smaller rebate. Their plans include some features EquAIte doesn’t, like higher top-model limits.
Where each dollar goes
A typical member’s $15 month. Members see the real figures for all of EquAIte, updated live, in the app.
- AI: ≈ $2 (13%)
- Running costs: $4 (27%)
- Back to users: ≈ $9 (60%)
Where we’re headed
-
Stage 1 · now
Launch
AI bought pay-per-use from providers. What’s left of each user’s fee after costs comes back to them.
1user neededFrom day one
Starts with the first user.
-
Stage 2
On-demand GPUs
GPUs rented by the hour run our own open models, lowering costs and raising rebates.
- GPUs
- Up to 8 × NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell
- GPU memory
- Up to 768 GB (96 GB each)
- AI performance
- Up to 32 petaFLOPS FP4
- Cost
- By the hour, no long-term commitment
3,000users neededHeld for 3 months
Enough users that running our own open model costs less than paying per use.
-
Stage 3
GPU ownership
The goal: EquAIte owns GPUs, and users who reserved share in them, on terms set out before Stage 3.
- Hardware
- 1 server, 8 × RTX PRO 6000
- GPU memory
- 768 GB
- AI performance
- 32 petaFLOPS FP4
- Value
- ≈ $207,000 CAD (est.)
5,000users neededHeld for 3 years
Enough users to keep an owned 8-GPU server busy, so it pays for itself over about 3 years.
GPU specifications from NVIDIA; costs are estimates. AI today comes from OpenRouter: DeepSeek V4 Flash (open model) for everyday requests and Claude Sonnet 5.5 for harder ones.
Stage 3 depends on reaching it and on EquAIte registering as a co-op, which hasn’t happened yet; its terms will be set out before anyone joins, and payments aren’t guaranteed. Rebates are price reductions on your own subscription and are never more than you paid. Payments are handled securely by Stripe.
